The straight strap is the flat-profile alternative to the J-strap — the same front face mounting, the same Delrin wheels, the same Goldberg Brothers track, but a clean vertical strap rather than a curved one. It's the right choice for modern, contemporary, and minimalist installs where the curved barn door hanger aesthetic doesn't fit the space.
One important difference from the J-strap: the straight strap is rated to 125 lbs per door, not 200 lbs. If your door is between 125 lbs and 200 lbs, the J-strap kit is the right call. If your door exceeds 200 lbs, see our heavy duty hardware.
