Classic J-Strap Bifold Barn Door Hardware Kit | 2 Door Kit

The J-strap bifold kit folds two door panels accordion-style along a wall-mounted track, stacking them to one side of the opening when open. Where a standard sliding door needs clear wall space equal to the full door width beside the opening, a 2-door bifold only needs room for the panels folded together — Goldberg Brothers hardware stacks two panels to just 5 in of depth. The J-strap hanger mounts to the front face of the outer door panel, giving the installation the same curved J-strap aesthetic as standard sliding barn door hardware.

If you have enough wall clearance beside the opening for a standard slider, standard sliding hardware is simpler to install and operate. Bifold is the right choice specifically when that wall clearance is limited — closets, pantries, laundry rooms, and bath installations are the most common fit. No ceiling mount option is available for bifold hardware.
