Horseshoe Heavy Duty Sliding Barn Door Hardware Kit

The heavy duty horseshoe is the highest-capacity hanger in our collection — 600 lbs per door, the most of any single sliding hanger we carry. That capacity comes from the horseshoe's multi-wheel steel assembly: multiple smaller wheels spread the door's load across more contact points on the track than any single-wheel hanger can. The more contact points, the more load the system can handle. The horseshoe frame mounts to the front face of the door the same way a J-strap does.

This is a workhorse hanger. It suits installations where weight is the primary concern — thick solid wood slabs, reclaimed timber, metal-framed doors, and commercial applications where a lighter hanger simply isn't rated for the job. Available in all 17 Goldberg Brothers finishes.
