The front door uses a bent stair-step hanger that positions it forward from the wall; the back door uses a standard spoke wheel hanger close to the track. The front door's outer wheel sits between the two wheels of the back door — this interleaving allows both doors to share one track and creates the center overlap when closed.

Spoke wheel bypass requires 8 in of ceiling clearance and produces a 9 in center overlap when closed — both larger than J-strap or straight strap bypass due to the wider wheel diameter.
